Have you ever hiked in Hawaii and smelled an intoxicating mix of musk and sweet? That is guava and Hawaiian guavas are the best! They are plentiful in the wild. We named this after Mauna Loa ( Long Mountain) for those very pink sunrise mornings at the crater.
We use pure guava pulp in our signature cake batter. They are filled with guava curd and topped with vanilla frosting to accent the guava taste.
